Not to mention i read that it can handle down to 25f
I'm curious on how different they are i understand that f1 is the original cross between veitchia and foxtail and f2 is foxy lady crossed back with either of the original parent's I have an f2 and am wondering how the look of the palm compares to f1 Also how f2 compares to f1 on their cold hard. This foxy lady palm is still standing despite the lean and creased oozing vertical stripe It's getting close to the end for me though Since the lean is headed toward the overhead phone and cable lines (not power), i'll take it down before it comes down on its own. After many years and trees that are ungodly tall, my foxy lady, 1 of 2 dropped 2 very ripe very real looking seeds
With only 2 to work with i of course will just hope to see if they germinate
I have plenty of foxtails and veitchia arecina in the yard so maybe it did a cross back with one of the. Alas, the time has come I've been growing this foxy lady a few years now and i think it's time to rehome her It's in a 15 gal but it ideally should go in the ground soon, it's filled in that pot already
I was really ambitious intending to grow her up here, but fresno winters will trash it ever. Foxy lady palms are incredibly fast growing palms and i think yours has a fighting chance if you get it in the ground asap and keep it's rootball watered Mine's established and i still water it almost daily Anyone else growing foxy lady palm (veitchia x wodyetia) in cooler climates
